Riding a horse is an act of listening with every fibre of your body and being as balanced in all ways as you can be. In return the horse will listen to your thinking and meet your soul and teach you things you cannot put into words.
Putting hands on another human and listening with your hands and heart is to create a space for transformation to allow them to return to balance.
Painting is listening to intuition, imagination and colour, an attempt to reconnect with space.
All of these skills require patience, practice, time and a willingness to get out of our own way, to transcend our own egos, to trust.
All are both easy and difficult at the same time.
Ease, freedom and a kind of ‘high’ are the rewards.
No one said life was going to be easy but it is definitely worth showing up for with an open mind and open heart. We are all going to get hurt at times and our hearts broken but we, and the planet can return to wholeness!
